Bali Hai Golf Club in Las Vegas, Nevada
Designed by Lee Schmidt and Brian Curley in 2000, the Bali Hai course is a worthy namesake of the famous Indonesian land of enchantment. The lush surroundings include seven-acres of opulent water features, a total of 4,000 trees with 2,500 stands of towering palms and 100,000 tropical plants. Transition and out-of-play areas are accented with Augusta white sand and black volcanic rock outcroppings
The wide variety of golf courses in
Las Vegas, such as
Bali Hai Golf Club, range from those that take advantage
of the region's desert terrain to others that have been engineered
to look nothing like "desert golf". Like many things
in Las Vegas, sometimes it's about spectacle and sometimes it's
about substance. But there's no doubt that Las Vegas has some very
substantive golf courses. |
