Reflection Bay Golf Club in Henderson, Nevada
Reflection Bay Golf Club is the most highly regarded course in the Lake Las Vegas area, at the far northeastern corner of greater Las Vegas. It was the first publicly-playable resort course in the state to be designed by Jack Nicklaus. It's the site for the annual "Wendy's Three-Tour Challenge", with proceeds going to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. At a little over 7,200 yards, this par-72 award-winning course offers a mix of desert and excellent views of Lake Las Vegas.
The wide variety of golf courses in
Las Vegas, such as
Reflection Bay Golf Club, range from those that take advantage
of the region's desert terrain to others that have been engineered
to look nothing like "desert golf". Like many things
in Las Vegas, sometimes it's about spectacle and sometimes it's
about substance. But there's no doubt that Las Vegas has some very
substantive golf courses. |
